Living Christians entering the wrath of God---end times

Living Christians entering the wrath of God---end times

Galatians 6:1-5   1 Friends, (in Christ,) if a Christian is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore the person in a spirit of gentleness. Take care that you yourselves are not tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will (obey) the law of Christ. 3 For if those who are nothing think they are something, they deceive themselves. 4 All must test their own work; so that their own work, rather than the work of others, will become a cause for their pride. 5 All (Christians) must carry their own loads.

Daniel 11:33-35    33 (Holy Preachers and Teachers) who are wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand; yet for many days some of them and their followers will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder. 34 When they fall they will receive a little help, and many persons will join with them. 35 Some of those who are spiritually wise and have insight will fall as martyrs in order to refine, to purge, and to make those beginners among God’s people righteous, until the end time; because it is yet to come.

Luke 8:11-15   11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones on the path are Christians who have heard God’s word; but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 The ones on the rock are Christians who, when they hear the word, and receive it with joy.  They have God’s word with no root; they believe only for a while and in a time of testing God’s word will not be followed. 14 As for God’s word that fell among the thorns, these are Christians who hear God’s word; but as they go on their way, God’s words are not followed due to their cares for riches, for pleasures, and for worldly living.  Their Spiritual fruit does not mature. 15  As for God’s word falling on good soil, these are the Christians who, when they hear God’s word obey the word through an honest and good heart, and bear Spiritual fruit with patient endurance. The output will vary according to Spiritual growth.

John 15:1-6   15 “Jesus Christ said, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine keeper. 2 He removes every branch in Me that bears no Spiritual fruit. Every branch that bears fruit He prunes as to make it bear more Spiritual fruit. 3 You have already been touched by the word  I have spoken, therefore   4 abide in Me as I abide in you.  A branch cannot bear Spiritual fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in Me and I in them bear much Spiritual fruit, because apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 Whoever does not abide in Me is thrown away like a dried up branch; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Ephesians 6:10-18   10 Christians, be strong in the Lord, in the strength of His power. 11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the deceitful trickery of the devil. 12  Our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may succeed on that evil day by having done everything to stand firm.  14 Stand your ground, fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. 15 As shoes for your feet use whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. 16 With all of these, use the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the devil. 17 Put on the helmet of salvation, and use the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times in a humble request. Keep alert and always humbly pray for all the chosen Christians.

Revelation 2:10  10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Beware, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have affliction. Be faithful until death, and I, Jesus Christ will give you the crown of life.

1 Peter 5:6-11  6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8 Be disciplined and keep alert.  Like a roaring lion, your adversary, the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour.  9 Resist him, steadfast in your faith, for you know that your Christian brothers and sisters around the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.  10 When you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you. 11 In Him is the power forever and ever. Amen.

2 Timothy 2:22-26  22 Avoid your youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, joining others, all with a pure heart, calling on the Lord 23 Have nothing to do with stupid and senseless controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 As the Lord’s servant, you must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, like a patient teacher, and 25 correct opponents with gentleness.  God may perhaps grant that certain persons will repent and come to know the truth.   26 They may escape from the snare of the devil, after having been held captive by him while doing his will.

2 Timothy 3:4-5  4 Avoid the treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit.  They are lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 5 They display an outward form of godliness while lacking God’s Spiritual power.

John 6:70   70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? Yet one of you is a devil,” and will fall.

James 4:4-7   4 Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is being an enemy of God?  Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5 Do you over-look scripture that says, “God yearns jealously for the spirit that He has given us, ”  6 He gives more grace.  Scripture also tells us, “God opposes the proud, and gives grace to the humble.” 7 Therefore, turn to God and Resist the devil, and the devil will then flee from you.

Proverbs 12:16  16 Fools show their anger at once, but the prudent ignore an insult.

Galatians 6:7-10  7 Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. 8 If you act according to the desires of your own flesh, you will reap corruption, but if you sow in Spirit, you will reap eternal life.  9  Do not get tired in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time if we do not give up. 10 Whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those who are faithful to God’s word.

Galatians 5:17  17 For what the flesh desires is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit desires is opposed to the flesh; for these are opposed to each other. Prevent doing what the flesh desires.

Galatians 5:19-26  19  Now the works of the flesh are obvious: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, anger, quarrels, dissensions, factions,  21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these. I am warning you, as I warned you before: those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.  22 By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. 26 Do not become conceited by competing against one another, and envying one another.

2 Corinthians 4:4-7  4 The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 As teachers we do not proclaim ourselves, we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6  It is our God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” and has placed in our hearts the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have made it clear made clear that this extraordinary power comes from God and flows through us teachers.

Mark 13:9-11, 13  9 “As for(Christians), beware; for they will hand you over to councils; and you will be beaten in synagogues; and you will stand before governors and kings because of Me, as a testimony to them. 10 (God’s word)  must be first be proclaimed to all nations. 11 When they bring you to trial and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say; but say whatever is given you at that time, for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of God. 13 The one enduring to the end will be saved.

Revelation 13:7-8  7 (the  first beast of the devil) was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.  It was given authority over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and many of the inhabitants of the earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slaughtered.

Mark 13:21-23     21Jesus Christ said, “if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is (Jesus Christ)’ or ‘Look! There he is!’—do not believe it. 22 False (Christ and false prophets) will appear and produce signs and omens, to lead astray, if possible, the elect.” 23  Remain alert.

2 Corinthians 11:14 14   No wonder! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Revelation 13:13-16  13 The second beast (of satan) performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of all; 14 and by the signs that it is allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceives many inhabitants of earth, causing them to make an image of the first beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet lived; 15 and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast could even speak and cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 Also it causes many, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, (but not those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.)

Revelation 14:9-13  9 Then another angel, a third, followed them, crying with a loud voice, “Those who worship the beast and its image, and receive a mark on their foreheads or on their hands, 10 they will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and they will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image and for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus.  13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.”

Revelation 19:19-21   19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against the rider (Jesus Christ) on the horse, and against His army.    20  The first beast was captured, along with the false prophet, (the second beast,) who had performed in its presence the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 21 The remainder of evil army members are killed by the sword of the rider (Jesus Christ) on the horse, the sword that came from His mouth.
